This is contemporary Dubai at its most theatrical: height, horizon and a sweeping urban coastline are the defining design features. Travellers who prefer a low-rise, intimate hideaway should consider a different property.

Rooms, suites and views

Official room descriptions include sea-view options, Club Rooms, interconnecting family rooms and more elaborate suites. The view and room configuration are central to the experience. Check the exact booked category, occupancy and included benefits rather than assuming a promotional photograph reflects every room.

Families should confirm connecting-door availability and sleeping arrangements in writing. Couples may prioritise a high-floor outlook, while guests with young children may value easy access to ground-floor pools more than the rooftop setting.

Dining above the waterfront

The resort's dining options include ZETA Seventy Seven, a high-level venue with views of the Gulf and city. This is a natural choice for a special evening, but tables, access packages and restaurant operating times should be confirmed in advance. Dining at the resort does not necessarily grant unlimited access to every pool or facility.

Compare the exact meal-plan benefits of your room booking. Breakfast and half-board offers vary, and premium restaurants may involve supplements.

Spa, beach and pool choices

The Spa at Address occupies level 75, while the resort offers ground-floor adult pools, a family pool, a children's splash pad and direct access to JBR Beach. Its current amenities page says the ground-floor adult pools are for guests aged 16 and above, while the family pool welcomes children. Spa treatments and private cabanas can carry additional charges.

Families should also consider Qix Kids Club, which the official resort amenities page currently lists as operating daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm for ages four to sixteen; children younger than four must be accompanied. The page describes complimentary club access for hotel guests, but programmes and supervision rules should be reconfirmed for the dates of travel. This is a practical reason to choose the resort even when younger children cannot use the level-77 rooftop pool.

For a more relaxed itinerary, divide your time between the rooftop and the shoreline. The beach offers a different mood from the dramatic sky pool and can be especially valuable for families.

The level-77 infinity pool

The resort's outdoor infinity pool is on Level 77 and holds a Guinness World Records title for its elevation above ground. The resort currently advertises pool access for guests aged 14 and above, but dining-venue guidance, day-pass offers and special sessions may have separate or changing age rules. Do not assume that booking a room or a restaurant table guarantees pool admission. Check the official rooftop pool page and confirm the exact conditions for every guest with the hotel before payment.

Private cabanas, premium seating and visitor passes have their own terms. Hotel guests should verify the current included access, opening hours and reservation arrangements rather than assuming that all rooftop packages are identical.

Location and arrival

Jumeirah Beach Residence is a lively area close to Dubai Marina, Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai. It suits travellers who want beach time, dining and an energetic urban setting. Reaching Downtown Dubai and other city attractions requires additional travel.

For a trip focused on the historic districts, a split stay could reduce commuting. Consider airport transfers and arrival time when booking a short rooftop-focused visit.
