Marina Bay Sands Singapore
A practical guide to the world-famous SkyPark hotel: rooms and suites, skyline views, restaurants, the infinity pool and booking decisions.
More than a room with a view.
Marina Bay Sands is simultaneously a five-star hotel, a celebrated architectural landmark and the centre of a large waterfront entertainment complex. Three hotel towers carry the long SkyPark, crowned by an infinity pool that is reserved for registered hotel guests. This is a city hotel that offers an experience few other hotels can reproduce.
The strongest reason to book is the combination of the rooftop pool, sweeping scenery and central location. But the property is large, busy and highly varied: a Sands Deluxe Room is very different from a two-bedroom Paiza Collection suite, and one skyline outlook differs sharply from another. Booking by hotel name alone misses the biggest decisions.
Our independent guide compares rooms, family capacity, dining, transfers and real trade-offs. Explore related stays in our City Hotels collection and discover more destinations in our Destinations guide. See also our infinity-pool hotel collection and guide to exceptional infinity pools.
A skyline-defining architectural landmark.
Architect Moshe Safdie's composition of three hotel towers connected by the long, elevated Sands SkyPark makes the property unmistakable from across Singapore's bay. It is architecture designed to be experienced from the city as well as from the inside.
Inside, a dramatic multi-level atrium contrasts with the intimate scale that some guests expect from boutique hotels. This immense integrated development creates an exciting sense of arrival, but the circulation and public areas can feel busy.
Photographs of public interiors reproduced here were taken in 2015 and 2023; finishes and furnishings may have changed. Read our editorial on how hotel design shapes travel.

Choose the exact room and outlook.
The Sands Collection ranges from 45 m² Deluxe and Premier rooms to a 70 m² Premier Studio and large one- and two-bedroom suites. For a couple spending most of the day exploring Singapore, a carefully chosen Premier Room may make more sense than paying for space you will not use. For a family, the bedding arrangement and permitted child count can matter more than the published area.
Paiza Collection suites aim for an even higher level of space and service. Suite privileges vary by category and rate; never assume breakfast, transfers, lounge access or a specific outlook is included without checking the exact booking terms.
A city-facing room and a Gardens by the Bay-facing room are distinct experiences. The hotel states that imagery, layouts and amenities may vary; discuss any accessibility or connecting-room requirements before you reserve.

A destination for dining, not just sleeping.
The larger Marina Bay Sands complex offers a wide range of restaurant concepts. Spago Dining Room, CUT by Wolfgang Puck, RISE and WAKUDA are among the named venues in its official restaurant directory. Dining options vary from relaxed meals to celebration-worthy evenings.
Restaurants welcome their own visitors and may require advance reservations, dress-code compliance or deposits. A rooftop dinner is not equivalent to having access to the hotel-guest infinity pool. Check the current official dining directory before travel.
If breakfast matters, choose a rate that clearly includes it. Do not equate a suite's advertised privileges with the benefits of a standard room.

The pool is genuinely special — and popular.
The celebrated infinity pool is on the 57th floor and is exclusively for registered hotel guests. Buying an observation deck ticket does not provide pool access. For visitors hoping to swim there, the reservation itself is the access decision.
The hotel advertises pool operation generally from 6 a.m. to midnight; verify access times and restrictions before arrival. Sunset is especially popular, so expect more guests and photographs rather than peaceful seclusion. Families should review the designated zones and safety instructions.
The resort also offers fitness and spa-related services; spa treatments and any additional privileges should be confirmed separately. For quieter alternatives consider our infinity-pool collection.

Explore Singapore from the waterfront.
Guests have an unusual number of experiences close at hand: the ArtScience Museum, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Sands SkyPark Observation Deck, waterfront promenade and Gardens by the Bay are all practical places to plan around a stay.
Not every attraction is included with the hotel room. Check admissions, museum schedules and special-event closures independently. A couple might spend a single night here for the pool and an evening by the bay, then move to a quieter neighbourhood hotel for the rest of the trip.
For groups or families, Bayfront MRT makes the wider city accessible. It is a strong base for sightseeing but not an isolated pool resort; expect public visitors across the wider development.

Central Singapore, easy connections.
Where: Marina Bay Sands, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956. It connects to Bayfront MRT and is close to Gardens by the Bay, central waterfront walks and major attractions.
Nearest airport: ✈ Singapore Changi Airport (SIN). The hotel's transport directions put the journey at approximately 20 minutes by taxi or car in favourable traffic; allow more time when busy or during events.
Bayfront MRT can be a predictable option for city travel. With luggage, taxis or ride-hailing may be convenient, but check pickup location and which tower you need.
